What You Should Know About Insurance Claims

If you make an insurance claim, no law requires you to get more than one estimate. Likewise, you are not required to use any particular shop. It is your car, and you should choose the shop you want to perform the repairs. Upon tear down and inspection additional damage previously not visible may be found. We will contact the insurance company so these costs can be added to the original damage report. To expedite repairs we pre-order parts.

If your insurance company has written its own estimate of the repairs we will discuss this with you any problem areas in their estimate. If necessary, we will contact the insurance company and try to reach an agreement for the additional dollars needed to restore your automobile to the condition it was in prior to the accident. If the insurance company will not pay the difference you may elect to pay the difference yourself.
